Let everything happen to you, beauty and terror. Just Keep going. No feeling is final.
-Rainer Maria Rilke
My Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Portland, Oregon. I work with adults seeking growth and change amidst endings, beginnings, challenges and transitions. Using an attachment-focused lens and a mindful awareness of the body, I use EMDR to help clients explore their experiences while discovering their authentic selves. I view our relationship as a collaboration, valuing curiosity, education and maintaining transparency and clarity. An integral part of our work together involves understanding how our neurobiology shapes our experiences and responses to the world.
My practice combines several evidence-based modalities:
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Motivational Interviewing
I view therapy through an anti-oppression, feminist lens that acknowledges how societal systems affect our mental health and nervous system regulation. Together, we'll create a space for exploration, healing, and growth at your own pace.
